WHAT WE ARE NOT
We ARE NOT a pain management office!
To help with confusion to those who do NOT understand what MAT is, it is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder. The medication used is, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, also known by the brand name of Suboxone. In case you did not know, Suboxone contains Naloxone which is a drug to counteract opioids. This is what helps make it even more effective.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
We are against opioids and the current (decades long) crisis in our country! We are a primary care office, which provides occupational health, and addiction services via MAT. Our patients do not receive Suboxone in our office. Medications are picked up at a local pharmacy and taken at home.
Our MAT patients are those who are lucky, patients who are working on sobriety, setting goals, and attempting to navigate life while maintaining sobriety. Patients who work, raise families, and are grateful and thankful to be alive!
We are proud to do our part in helping fight the addiction crisis that faces our great nation!
